I am Sean Lin, an industrial designer who completed a master’s degree in industrial design at Pratt Institute in 2024.

 

Design is an essential part of my life and influences how I see and interact with the world. Having grown up in Taiwan and studied in the USA, I draw inspiration from the unique blend of cultural perspectives and experiences these places offer. My design approach is grounded in my everyday surroundings, where I find beauty and function in even the simplest details. I am especially passionate about design research, home decor, and color theory, all of which allow me to explore how design shapes our environment and influences our moods and perceptions.

 

Through my work, I enjoy capturing and translating everyday experiences and sensations into meaningful designs. My goal is to create pieces that not only fulfill functional needs but also evoke emotional connections, enhancing the way people experience their daily lives.
